News Media - What do we teach the students?

The Pew Project For Excellence in Journalism released it's Sate of the News Media today. For the fist time ever it shows that more people get their news from the internet then the newspaper. This made me think about the importance of teaching students what a reliable source for news is. That can be tricky because there are several different opinions about what makes a good source.  In todays media there is so much diversity and spin it is hard to know what is reliable.
